Call for Recipes

In honor of the 300th anniversary of the geographic center of the Commonwealth,

the Town of Rutland 300th Anniversary Committee invites all residents

to share their favorite recipes for inclusion in a 300-recipe 300th anniversary cookbook

that will be sold to help support the year’s activities.

There is no limit on the number of recipes you may submit.

Recipes may be submitted in any format - handwritten, typed, or electronically.

• For electronically submitted recipes, please note that all recipes will be reformatted for clarity and uniformity.

• For handwritten recipes, please submit a COPY, as these documents will not be returned. Copies may be made at the Rutland Free Public Library.

Please include as much explanation, historical context (if any), and personal stories with each recipe as you feel comfortable including. Please include the title of the recipe, and the name to which you wish the recipe to be attributed (i.e., The Smith Family or John Brown).
